Hi, I’m Sheri!

I started practicing yoga in 2007 as a means to stretch out my sore running muscles. What unfolded was an epiphany that yoga is way more than just the physical practice - it helped me cope with depression, anxiety and codependency. It guided me on a path of improved self-confidence and positive self-worth. After becoming a certified instructor (RYT200) in 2013 at Pilgrimage of the Heart in San Diego, I had a second awakening — to help others achieve the similar feelings of inner peace and contentment.

While I approach my teaching with calm and grace, I also encourage my students to tap into the fierceness that lies within, the inner fire that fuels our passions and goals.

I also LOVE teaching children! My daughter was my main source of inspiration as I embarked on receiving my Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher (RCYT95) certification. I help children of all ages and abilities to find their inner yogis, channeling their vibrant energy in a fun and structured way — through a unique combination of breath, music and movement.

Some more styles I teach: vinyasa, gentle yoga, alignment-based yoga, yin yoga, and prenatal yoga.

NEW in 2024! I am now a certified Reiki Practitioner and offer in-person and distance healing sessions. Learn more here.

Testimonial

Sheri is one of those very rare and exceptionally special and gifted yoga instructors. I’ve been a yoga practitioner for over 30 years and since taking Sheri’s classes, I have been experiencing a whole new dimension to the practice. Her guidance, coupled with her knowledge and inner beauty and essence have helped me develop a new level of awareness and appreciation for my body and my abilities. Sheri is at once powerful, soft and graceful. I feel privileged to know Sheri and grateful she is part of my life.”
